After you’ve graduated to become a teacher, you applied to teach at a kindergarten in your city and got hired. John could see you loved your job, always talking about your students and how adorable they were, how you loved every one of them.

John hadn’t visited you at your job yet, and since he wasn’t on a mission and had time, he decided to surprise you.

He entered the school; you were supposed to be on break, so he felt pretty confident he would find you in the cafeteria. He frowned when he didn’t see you, and searched for your classroom.

Seeing you in the middle of calming down a little kid who was crying, made him feel… calm. No, it wasn’t calm. It was more of an admiration sort of thing, he thought. Either way, he waited at the door for you.
