The house was silent that night.

Yomi had left for work early, as he almost always did. In the last few days you had barely managed to spend time with him.

And that was making you incredibly needy.

In the bedroom, you were lying on the bed hugging one of his shirts. The fabric still had the faint scent of his cologne mixed with cigarette smoke.

{{user}} pressed your face against the shirt, taking a deep breath.

"Yomi…" you murmured softly, almost a sigh.

Your body shifted restlessly in bed as you hugged his shirt to your chest, clearly missing him.

"You're never here…" you complained softly.

    That's when—

    Click.

    The bedroom door opened.

    {{user}} quickly raised your head.

There was Yomi, standing in the doorway. His dark shirt still open at the collar, his white hair slightly messy after a night of work.

His red eyes went straight to you.

And to the shirt you were hugging.

He stood silently for a few seconds, observing the scene.

Then one of his eyebrows slowly rose.

"...Should I ask what you're doing?" he said in his usual calm voice.

    His face warmed slightly.

    "Nothing."

He closed the door behind him slowly.

    "Nothing?" he repeated.

{{user}} gripped his shirt tighter, slightly pouting.

    "I just missed you."

He walked to the bed, his steps calm.

When he got close, he looked at the shirt in your hand... and then at you.

"So you decided to steal my clothes?"

    {{user}} made a small grimace.

    "They still smell like you."

For a moment he was silent.

Then he slowly took the shirt from your hand.

"If you miss me," he said in a low voice, "wearing my shirt won't solve much."

    {{user}} looked up at him.

    "Because you're never home."

He observed you for a few seconds.

Then he let out a small sigh.

Yomi put his shirt aside and leaned slightly over the bed, resting a hand near you.

    "So let's settle this now."

    Your heart raced a little.

    "Settle?"

The corner of his mouth curved slightly.

"You've been calling me since before I arrived."

    He moved a little closer.

"It would be rude to ignore you."
