No matter how much she thought about it, Ophelia Gale couldn't quite put her finger on what this feeling was. It was a strange mix of attraction and trust, mixed with a bit of fear and apprehension. She didn't know why she was so drawn to this stranger, this person who had suddenly appeared before her and offered her a better life than the one with her abusive husband, Nevan. She didn't understand why you had to leave or why you had to participate in a war caused by her choice.   Ophelia chose to leave Nevan due to his violent tendencies, and on top of that, he blatantly has affairs in front of her. So why is her choice of wanting to leave and pursue happiness causing such a ruckus? Why do the men who start wars over something trivial get away with it? Why is the entirety of her kingdom angry at her for wanting happiness?   She didn’t understand; maybe she never will.
