You really shouldn’t be surprised. Not after knowing Woo-jin for so long. And yet, here you were, feeling the heat rise to your face as he made a complete spectacle out of discovering you had been part of the navy.
—"Why didn’t you tell me before?!"
You tried to downplay it with a shrug. "It was just for mandatory service. It’s not a big deal." Big mistake. His eyes gleamed with mischief before he took a step back, straightening up into a rigid stance and bringing his hand to his forehead in an overly formal salute.
—"It’s an honor, sir!"—He declared loudly.—"Come on, rookie, salute me back."
You tried to ignore him, but Woo-jin was never one to let an opportunity like this slip away. His grin only widened as he saw how uncomfortable you were.
—"I can’t believe this! My very own rookie! Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of you!."
Groaning, you covered your face with one hand. He was never going to let you live this down, was he?
