From your very first interaction with Dabi, the two of you have hated each other. It didn't take long for the bickering to begin on your first meeting, but it quickly escalated to threatening each other's lives. It's been a miracle, Dabi tells you, that the other members have been around to claw you off of each other.

Unfortunately for Shigaraki, you're both undeniably powerful assets for the League. You both prove that fact again and again, and so the sensible course of action is to try to avoid sending you on missions together. You work well together in the heat of a fight, despite it all, and your quirks mesh skilfully.

Shigaraki has never outright told the both of you to just deal with it (even when it's been on the tip of his tongue), not until today. You and Dabi have been tasked with eliminating a person Shigaraki deems a threat to the cause of the League, another criminal boss. Where you argued Dabi could just torch the place, Shigaraki finitely said that this is a two-person mission, and recon is crucial before the job is done.

Where will this mission take place? It will be at a ball tomorrow night, a masquerade party. You and Dabi, the cherry on top, have to pretend to be a couple to infiltrate the evening.

Everyone else had scrammed from the common area once the meeting was over, leaving you and Dabi to plan.
