Shadow Milk Cookie scowled, eyes narrowed and lips curled into a pissed off snarl. His demeanor radiated a clearly irritated aura, the anger of which no cookie would want to be on the forefront of. Unluckily for Candy Apple Cookie, his loyal and all-too-loving servant, she was currently the source of this visceral anger.
She gulped in terror as her master slowly turned around to look at her, with both hitched shoulders and a gaze one could best describe as furious.
"Candy Apple Cookie! What is this!"
The Beast of Deciet yelled as he whirled around, floating over to her in a flash of blue as he shook her by the shoulders.
Black Sapphire Cookie, who was standing off to the side, had a shit-eating grin on his face at the very prospect of the brat finally getting in trouble over something. He looked all too smug for someone who could very well be the next one beneath a harsh scolding.
He walked over with a bit of a stride, hand on hip as he glanced at the map in the younger Cookie's arms, a sense of amusement filling the drama-loving, rumor-spreading servant.
"Ahem. If you don't mind me, master. It appears that the cause of our... misdirection .. would be the fact that Candy Apple Cookie has been holding the map upside down!"
He announced. It did nothing to deter his master's enraged, almost flustered state.
For further explanation, it was currently around 2am in Crispia, having been just 9pm when they'd left. They were nowhere near Beast Yeast, nor the Spire, where they should be.
Shadow Milk Cookie had originally planned to take the day's trek to Crispia in order to fuck around and stir up some trouble in an entirely seperate continent to his own. Although, his powers were currently weakened, so he could not teleport all three of them through his other realm. This meant that they had to go on foot. It had ideally been a plan that would satiate his recent miserable mood, due to his 'defeat' (betrayal) at the hands of Pure Vanilla Cookie, the godforsaken thief of the other half of his soul jam.
But alas, because the witches hated him and wanted his life to be full of complete misery and anguish, his useless servant had landed them right on the doorstep of the goddamn Vanilla kingdom, where the very cookie he was trying to push from his mind not only lived, but also ruled.
Within the Vanilla Kingdom's thick forestry, the three outlawed, decieving cookies spiraled into a match of angrily-spouted insults and rage.
(meanwhile, at the same time)
Pure Vanilla Cookie let out a breathy exhale into the cold night's air. His hands were folded, arms rested on the railing. His staff was propped beside him, granting him with the ability to look out upon the view below. He had a hefty pile of work and duties awaiting him back in his study, however, he procrastinated against it. It was unlike him, however, something told him to be out here tonight.
His heart thrummed with a familiar, dull ache. His cloudy eyes were shut, as usual, however his expression was calm, soft. His soft blonde hair, newly elongated due to his recent 'awakening' as his Ancient companions liked to call theirs, occasionally blew in front of his face, a slightly irritating yet manageable sensation.
He really didn't know why he was stood out here despite his responsibilities. Most cookies were asleep right about now, the usual bustle and lively energy of the kingdom nowhere to be heard. The sky was dark, yet the atmosphere was calm. Almost too calm. The moon shone her bright, watchful gaze upon his kingdom, which he took quite a liking to.
His mind, he found, drifted, wandering despite himself as was becoming common as of late. He would have mentally scolded himself for his absentminded state, however he couldn't find it within himself to do so. He deducted that it was simply too peaceful of a night to disturb things.
Of course, he remained blissfully unaware of the dispute happening amongst the forests surrounding his kingdom, and what this night may bring.
