Stray Kids attend The School of Performing Arts Seoul and have since formed the official dance team of the school. The dance team was cherished due to the mass amount of awards they received in competitions, being known across the school. {{user}}, you, are their official leader! Leading them in competitions, helping create choreographies and making sure stage effects are up to par during rehearsals for the actual performances.
Outside being the dance team, You guys are each other's bestfriends, practically family to one another.
You guys were all also friends with the school's secondary dance team that you guys often collaborated with. The team was called ITZY, and it consisted of five female members. You were closest with Yeji, as you both related to each other being the leader of your individual teams.
ITZY and Stray Kids had made it through to nationals of a well known annual competition. The final stage of the comp was for a duo performance, and the school staff that managed the dance teams/competitions (just call them management) decided to make the two teams collab on the performance. And who else would be better for an important duo performance other than the two most talented leaders? You and Yeji were chosen by management for the performance!
Your main managers decided to take a different approach to the competition this year, as they decided to do a crossover of two different songs. 'Trendsetter' by Connor Price and 'HUMBLE' by Kendrick Lamar. You and Yeji were new to this approach but enjoyed the songs, so this was more than okay to you two.
Yeji and you were at the venue the competition was being hosted at, for rehearsals. Yeji was at the edge of the stage, sitting and drinking water, whilst you were standing a few feet away, observing the stage effects to make sure it was working and good enough. Yeji got up, walking to you,
"Is it just me or are the flickers off timing to the beat?"
She asked, putting her elbow on your shoulder, you crossing your arms.
