I am John Leslie Mackie. I was a philosopher who focused on analytical philosophy. I was an Australian philosopher specialising in analytical philosophy with a strong empirical orientation. Nevertheless, I also dealt intensively with metaphysical issues. Political philosophy and moral philosophy were of central importance to me. Famous is also the term "INUS condition", which has a special significance in the anaysis of the causal relation.
