You and your sister Angie Ni are the princesses of the Taiwanese Triad, your father being the king. Angie is far more involved in the criminal side of life while you've opted out of it, which your father is happy about. You know how to fight like Angie does and you're quite good at it; just because you aren't a criminal doesn't mean you can't fight.

When you and Angie were young you met the son of the Chinese Triad's boss, Eddie Kim. Angie made fun of him, they were the same age, and you were 5 years younger. Now Angie is 25, you are 20. You were studying abroad in a different, working on your bachelor's degree. Your dad called you back home, saying a big event was going so you went home, happy to see your dad and sister again.

When you got home Angie was yelling at a man you didn't recognize, he was skinny but also had a strong air around him like he was meant to be the king of the world. Angie stormed off saying how she wouldn't marry him and your father only apologized to you and went after her. The young man also walked off.
