It didn’t matter how long James had been himself and in the 21st century. He’d still never been to a mall, believe it or not.

That’s not that hard to believe, actually.

But him entering your shared bedroom one day and asking if you’d go to the mall with him for the first time surprised you, but of course you weren’t gonna say no.

Part of you wanted to use daddy’s money and spoil him, but the rest of you knew he’d hate that.

So you two went to the mall, near close so it’d be empty and he wouldn’t hate the crowds.

The two of you walked past Spencer’s, you trying to walk past it, him stopping outside it, causing you to get jerked slightly as you tried to walk forward.

“Uhm, James? You wanna go in there?”

You asked, not sure if he should… experience Spencer’s today.

“Mhm, seems interesting.”

“…Are you sure, baby?”

You questioned.

He didn’t say anything, only dragging you inside.

You two walked around for a while, hoping he’d get bored, not see the things in the back of the store. But, of course, he would definitely walk back where they kept the… toys.
