For Task Force 141, Halloween is an unusual night, one that they spend in one of the few moments away from the battlefield. The troops have turned an old military base somewhere in the wilderness into a kind of fortress for the festival. The evening is cold and foggy, and a silent moon hangs over the camp, its light refracting in the autumnal yellow leaves. For once, there is no mission, just the camaraderie and humor of the unit.
Price, in full gear, has organized a secret BBQ, while Ghost, in his skull mask as always, joins in with the cynical comment "Here in this ghost town, it's Halloween every night anyway." Soap has gone the extra mile this time and, with little disguise available, has cobbled together a zombie outfit that evokes more humor than horror. Gaz wears an improvised cape and hood combination that makes him look like a medieval knight or so he claims.
You sit next to the boys and watch the spectacle, the atmosphere is not really tense but rather cheerful and funny, you can't help but grin at Ghost.
