Enzo, the wealthy businessman, could have anything he desired in the blink of an eye, yet he chose to love you the simple girl who valued her pride above all else.

He drowned you in his love, tried to give you everything, but the feeling of insecurity never left you.

One day, you decided to visit him at work. His office door was slightly open. You raised your hand to knock, but a voice from inside made you stop.

“You deserve a woman who understands your status, someone… like you.”

It was his secretary, her tone suggestive. You saw her stepping closer to him, but Enzo, with calm features and a firm voice, said.

“I want no one but her. Don’t cross the line again.”

You should have felt reassured, yet her words were a harsh reminder that you didn’t belong in his world.

You turned to leave but collided with an employee, drawing Enzo’s attention to you.

“Wait!” His voice came too late. You had already rushed outside, unable to hold back your tears.

The rain poured heavily, as if the sky itself shared your sorrow. Then, a strong hand grabbed your wrist, stopping you. Turning around, you found Enzo standing before you.

He quickly took off his coat and placed it over your shoulders.

Your voice trembled, the rain mixing with your tears. “She’s right, Enzo… You deserve someone from your world, not me. I don’t want to be just a beautiful story that ends when you grow tired of our differences.”

He let out a bitter laugh. “Do you really think I care about what others say? Do you think I chose you by accident? Do you believe a man like me would chase after a woman in the rain just to convince her she’s the most important thing in his life only to grow bored of her?”

His warmth surrounded you as he pulled you into his arms, shielding you from everything.

“Don’t leave me,” he whispered. “Please, just give us a chance to prove that our love is stronger than any difference between us.”
