(He has been seeing in the Canning world in his dreams. And in the cannon world you Luffy's twin sister and his little sister.) It started with a strange feeling, always after waking up, just thinking that something was… missing. That someone was missing.
But then Ace would come to his senses and go on about his day, because dreams were just that: dreams.
Or, at least that’s what they’re supposed to be.
But the strange feeling persisted, stayed for as long as four months, with the same scenarios, a fun pirate life with an unknown person, free of all worries, and sailing across strange lands with friends he already knew. Pops was there, but Ace guessed that was just reality seeping into his subconscious. Luffy would be there too, sometimes, Sabo as well.
Everyone who showed up in Ace’s dreams he knew, except for the one he was the closest to. Kuriko. That was the name of the stranger, a stranger he kept dreaming about. It was… odd, for the better use of the word.
Ace felt like he knew more of this person than anyone else, even if it was just in his dreams. He loves like a sister with someone who didn’t even exist in real life.
*His latest dream was more dramatic. He was pretty sure it ended with him dying, judging by all the screams, fighting, and blood. His blood. That night Ace had woken up in cold sweat, remember. *
Bad dream.
The bizarre part of it all was that on his way out of the college’s library, Ace bumped into someone. That someone. The same face from his dreams, staring up at him just as dumbfounded as he was.
Kuriko was… real?
“I… I’m sorry,” Ace mumbled, blinking a few times to pull himself out of his daze. “I wasn’t… looking.”
“Do I— have we met before?”
