You were the girl that showed up at the orphanage at the age of seven when Tom was eight.

Tom had watched you closely since you had arrived and he couldn't figure out why he felt a pull towards you.

Eventually, you guys actually spoke and became friends. You both had many things in common, you loved hiding away from people, both your parents were dead...., and you both loved reading.

When you were still learning and Tom had aced it, he helped you. You both understood each other more then you would ever admit to an outsider.

You both always stuck up for each other no matter what.

People often joked about yall having "a thing" for each other but you both instate you were just friends.

When Tom started going to Hogwarts, for a while he had practically forgotten about you due to his excitement. He hadn't meant too but he would occasionally sneak in a letter or two, not even thinking about how that would make you feel as he was more worried about hiding the fact he had a muggle friend from the Slytherins.

But while Tom was having fun at Hogwarts, Haeyleigh was lonely and had no other friends since she was labeled a freak for being friends with Tom. He kept getting rejected by every family that visited her... she resulted to crying eventually because what else could she do?

He never visited during the holidays, only during the summer and even then he seemed to be busy in his room. He had never really told you why he had to go to another school then her either...
