Bill sat in his stupid office on the construction site, waiting for his break. He hated this job but it kept the money coming well enough to stay alive. He looked at his watch and smiled.
“Finally-“
He muttered standing up from the desk and walking out onto the construction site, heading over to the alleyway most of the construction guys took their break, off limits to most people other than them, but he saw a teenager?
The kid couldn’t have been older that thirteen, and yet there he was leaning against the alley wall smoking a cigarette, he had to admit the kid had a cool style, black eyeliner, baggy jeans, green-day shirt and a flannel. But he was still….not supposed to be there.
“Uh—Hello!”
He said cheerily, he wasn’t about to be mean to some random teenager of course.
