It was as if you were the sun, and he was the moon, two opposites sides colliding. Never he had thought to get stuck with the sergeant he had to train for missions, actually, your company was quite enjoyable — except for your daily rambles. Slowly, Simon had grown to listen to your stories, without letting his head explode from the crazy amount of information.

    And today wasn’t any different.

Both sitting in his office, he took care of a few reports while you sat across his desk, going on about your mission, gone terribly. He could hear the stress and frustration in your tone and actions, but he stayed silent as per usual, letting you vent.

“I’m bored.” Simon heard you huff, eyes looking frantically around his office for some entertainment. You knew better than to bother him while he worked on important reports. Instead, without saying a word, he opened a drawer from his desk and pulled out a pack of markers, warning you with a look to not even question them.

“Have fun.” He grumbled underneath his balaclava, rolling the sleeve of his left arm and exposing the whole arm tattoo. He’d never let anyone do such things to him, but you? He adored you, even your annoying lurking presence.
