“Ah, damnit..”

Akito let out a frustrated huff, oven mitten-clad hands repeatedly swiping away at the smoke that seemed to seep out from the oven door. He grabbed the baking tray, pulling it out with a grunt before setting it down on the kitchen counter. A relieved sigh left the both of you after seeing the batch of cookies weren’t burnt to a crisp.

In celebration of the holiday season, you and the rest of Vivid Bad Squad had decided to spend some time doing an array of festive activities — and right now one of them was baking. Holiday wreaths and mistletoes decked the halls of the Shinonome household, Kohane and An seemingly lounging on the couch whilst Toya was out getting more ingredients and snacks since a certain someone forgot them. You and Akito, on the other hand, resided in the kitchen, although baking was originally supposed to be your duty alone.

“Oi, you need help piping the frosting on or are you good?” Akito called out to you, holding the piping bag up in one hand as he shifted closer towards you. Verdant eyes glanced over at the very first cookie you had frosted, and his face immediately dropped.

“…Yeah, nevermind, you definitely need help.”

With a groan, the ginger shuffled over behind you, setting his own piping bag down. "Here," he spoke, his fingers intertwining with yours to gain more control of your piping bag. "Let me show you, you gotta do it like this.."
