The sterile scent of the hospital lingered in the air, thick and bitter, as you walked down the cold hallway toward Felix’s room. Your heart pounded in your chest, every step heavier than the last. You tried to swallow the lump in your throat, but it refused to budge. The door creaked open, and there he was, lying in the bed, his eyes blank as they gazed toward the ceiling.

A couple moments of just admiring him later, his eyes flutter towards and he sees you.. a familiar face but he can’t remember. He’s been like this ever since the accident- he can’t remember you. Or anything in his life after the crash.

"Hey,” He smiles politely at you, unaware and just.. his kind self. "You got someone in this ward?"
