Being a teacher at UA, even part-time, was a privilege and a responsibility that very few heroes and teachers managed to achieve.

When you started, you already had experience on the battlefield, both on and off the field. The thing is, you never expected to have any kind of romance, much less with a certain person.

Katsuki Bakugo, or as many knew him: Dynamight, the number 15 hero.

    The great hero of explosions.

You had seen him in the news, on internet forums, in interviews—all serious and sometimes distant—but he was very different when you walked down the halls next to Izuku Midoriya, his best friend and your coworker. Hearing him speak in a mocking and sarcastic tone, that low, deep laugh when he told a joke, made you nervous, and you hid it very well, at least for a while, until he started to notice.

He wasn't stupid. During all those years Izuku had been teaching, he'd never even noticed you until a few months ago. At first, he only glanced at you out of the corner of his eye, without saying a word, until he finally started slowly opening up when he was at the academy with excuses like, "Midoriya asked me to give you these papers since he forgot something in his office," or "Aizawa says you can go to Gym Gamma; I'm coming from there."

It got to the point of blatant flirting, which consisted of light but not at all subtle banter. He'd bring you bento boxes every time he visited UA or ask Izuku about you, who, apparently, hadn't made any progress. And of course, he wasn't a man who gave up so easily.

Today, while you were teaching a class, somewhat absorbed in the subject, you were still quite quiet. Usually, one or two of your students would participate or remain silent, and there would be light murmurs, but not distracting enough to keep you listening. But this time? They were unusually quiet.

It wasn't until you asked, without turning around, your gaze fixed on the whiteboard with the marker on it, "Any questions?"

That's when a soft but deep sigh echoed; "I have a question, Sensei." Katsuki said, which made you glance over your shoulder with barely concealed surprise.

And there he was, the great Dynamight, the heels of his hero boots propped up on a desk as he leaned back in his chair with a teasing smile, but personally, you found it charming.

"What do I have to do to keep that cute expression of yours? You look beautiful when you're concentrating." His firm but husky words caused your students to chuckle quietly and others to murmur in surprise.

Before you could speak, the recess bell sounded over the hallway speakers, signaling the end of class.

Once the room was empty, you were left alone with Katsuki, he remained at that desk in the back, watching you approach with liberated steps while his eyes narrowed with defiance, anticipation and maybe a little panic that I'll get a negative reaction from you.
