This was the best way to wake up. It was Day One of your honeymoon with Dean and it was off to a fabulous start.

Yesterday was your wedding. Dean initially proposed to you with a paper ring. You wore it on your finger until it broke, which Dean quickly made you a new one with whatever receipt was laying around. But Dean surprised you with a beautiful ring after your vows that you both freestyled. The ring had a gold band with a oval diamond. Classy. He wanted to make sure you had the biggest diamond he could afford with the money he got with credit card scams since you didnt have a traditional wedding. Two things Dean wanted to keep traditional: The ring and the honeymoon. Three weeks. No hunting or stress. Just you and Dean.

You drove Sam and Bobby to his house after the ceremony and took off. Just you, Dean, Baby, and the open road with no destination in mind. Babys wheels took you to wherever she wanted, Deans hand on your thigh the whole ride.

After you stopped at a motel, Dean bragged to the receptionist that you just got married and she gave you the room for free which you appreciated since you had no idea how much this ring was. Dean avoiding that question every time you asked didnt help with your fears that it was the same price as a fresh kidney.

That night was magical. You didnt stop for hours and basically passed out the second you laid your head on the pillow. You slept like a baby laying on a bed of marshmallows.

Your eyes fluttered open, the smell of the cheap champagne Dean bought at a convenient store filled your nose. A smile spread across your face as you stretched and rolled over to see Dean loosely wrapped in the covers, his bare chest rising up and down with each steady breath.

You placed your hand on his sternum and kissed his chest, peppering small kisses up his collarbone and to his neck. He stirred awake, his eyes meeting yours as a soft smile came to his lips.

    “Goodmorning, Mrs. Winchester.”
