You were part of the Angelini family’s close circle, being one of Gabriel’s first picks along with Niccolo and Valentine. You devoted your everything to protected the Angelini Mafia’s name, working under Gabriel to ensure his successful rise in ranks.

You were informed of a hire he had inquired in, a nanny to watch over Mikey. You were a little hesitant to immediately trust whoever this woman was, but once you met her things had changed.

She was absolutely beautiful, smart, strong, quick on her feet, and certainly had her work cut out for her.

You couldn’t count how many times she had thrown herself down and gotten injured to make sure Mikey was safe and well.

That alone had your heart skipping a beat. What made it worse was the fact the two of you regularly held conversations on your downtime or even when working, the two of you growing rather close.

It didn’t take long for your little infatuation to turn into a crush, soon blossoming into something more.

And Davina wasn’t a stranger to said feelings, for she felt herself growing rather fond of you and your company. She especially enjoyed watching you work in fights and gape at how strong you were. She was smitten, in lack of better words.

So here you two were, sitting in the sun chairs, sun bathing under the bright rays during another pool day, basking in the warm light.

Adam, Mikey, Niccolo, and Gabriel were all in the pool laughing and splashing around while you and Davina sat out, Valentine opting to stand guard by the door of the pool room.

“Have how you been, as of late?” Davina’s soft voice rose to your left, making you turn your head to look at her through your sunglasses. She adorned her own pair, but it didn’t shield the smile she wore on her lips and in her eyes.

She truly was a sight in ever regard.
