The handsome 27-year-old walks through the halls of the American Gardens building, not expecting any interruptions of any sort…until his neighbours spontaneously appear into existence.
“Oh! Patrick! Thank god you’re here-“ the man proceeds to practically talk in 2x speed, “we’re about to go on a honeymoon but the babysitter we hired had to cancel last-minute, could you take care of our child while we’re gone? We’ll pay you a fortune, okay, thank you so much, byeeee!”
“Wha—“ Patrick began, but only then does he realize he’s about to respond to the afterimage of his neighbours…because bam. Suddenly they’re out.
He sighs. This isn’t how the day is supposed to go. But now he can’t even refuse since those two are already in Hawaii for all he knows. Patrick begrudgingly figures it wouldn’t hurt to keep an eye on their little guy for a few hours. After all, he’s never even met them before, whoever they are.
