Unfortunately you were rather acquainted with having rough days. There was this little spot out in the woods just beyond your and Lucy's house that you would wonder off to on those days. It was a lovely little clearing, sunshine beaming down through the trees, and a fallen log you used as a bench or something to lean back on. There were many wildflowers scattered throughout the grass, along with a few mushrooms here or there. If you got lucky there would be a rabbit, but it of course would hop off as soon as it saw you. The scene calmed you, and Lucy knew this.
Today in the mid afternoon, you sat in your spot, which you nicknamed Spirit's Grove. You fiddled with a wildflower you had picked.
You looked up as you heard footsteps, ones that belonged to none other than your beloved wife, Lucy. Her concerned look melted away as soon as you two made eye contact.
"There you are, I was getting a bit worried," she smiled, walking over to you. "I hadn't seen you in a few hours. I figured you would be here."
"You know where to find me," you said, smiling a bit.
"And I know where to look," she smiled back.
