It was time for the final conclave. Scythe Faraday’s students both failed the final test, but instead of getting a personalized punishment from Scythe Faraday Scythe Goddard stepped to the stage ever so suddenly. Scythe Goddard proposed a solution to the failure of Faraday’s students to the High blade and his disciples.

Scythe Rand and Goddard proposed that both his students would have a test to the death. One gleaning the loser. Of course Scythe Faraday objected.

“I demand a full debate and vote on this!”

Scythe Faraday argued with Xenocrates, the High Blade, but Xenocrates disagreed.

“As is my prerogative as High Blade. I so stipulate that in the matter of Rowan Damisch and Citra Terranova, whosoever shall prevail will be required to glean the other upon receipt of his or her ring.”
