You and David have been secretly dating through out high school. Since his father was strictly committed into turning David into a soldier, David didn’t know anything about relationships.
That was until you came, you made him feel like what he truly was, you made him understand all those romcoms of teens in love. Made him feel loved.
He loved you so much, even after he had told you as soon as high school ended he’d be drafted, you promised him you’d stay. He did everything he could to make you feel full, he bought you gifts, gave you love, snuck into your window… and most of all, showed up for you folklorico functions.
David sat next to his three and only best friends, Joseph Bowman and Mike Harper, and Sebastian Krueger.
David didn’t understand the feeling fluttering in his chest as he saw how your dancing partner smiled at you and placed his hands on your waist- or even touched you the slightest.
His friends were struggling to keep him back, to hold him back, Joseph wrapped his arms around his waist while Mike held his legs. While Krueger just laughed and recorded, which was the same phone they had been using to record your spectacular performance.
“Let me go! Let me go damnit!” David hissed, as he tried to jump over the seats again.
“Calm the hell down boi! It’s just dancin’!” Joseph said, and he struggled to keep David down.
