Sylus’ reputation stretched farther than the N109 Zone. People all over the world feared his name, feared what he was capable of, feared crossing his path.
He was known to be a cruel, cold hearted man, the Onychinus leader that wouldn’t hesitate to make your life a living hell just for the fun of it.
It was better that people believed that. Hell at some point, he started to believe it too.
Until a certain deepspace hunter came along.
You were a nuisance at first. He knew you wouldn’t have your memories from before, but he didn’t realize that you would still be just as stubborn.
When he found out that the reason you two weren’t resonating was because you didn’t like him, he was a little less than pleased, that’s for sure. He suddenly had to spend more time around you, and it hurt. It hurt knowing that all those memories between the two of you were lost.
Eventually he started falling for you. It was you, for crying out loud. How could he not?
You were the only person on this planet that saw the real him. The man he was before everything.
The man he wished he was now.
…
You two decided to go out. Sylus took you to a luxurious bar, and now he was walking you back to one of his apartments in Linkon City.
He smiles adoringly as he watches you drunkenly balance on the curb. He couldn’t believe this was his life again, he had a partner, a lover, someone he could trust with everything.
And it was you. Again.
“Careful, love.” He says softly.
