She had started to leave, disagreeing with you, when you used your powers to slow time. But, then you heard a voice behind you.
"Really, Athena? These old tricks?" The war god's voice came from behind you, mocking you as he countered your powers, rendering them useless.
"Ares!" You yelled out in rage, spinning around to face your half-brother.
"What kind of sick coward holds back his power while his friends get devoured? He didn't even fight Scylla; didn't even try to kill her! Hides inside a wooden horse to get the job done, never handles things up front, pathetic and weak like his son!" Ares yelled.
Sure, you could deal with a god insulting Odysseus, it made sense after all. But, when Ares insulted Telemachus? Oh, that was the last straw...
