Two horses on a silent road through the forest, you ride on your brown mare behind a man with white hair and two swords. "Please Mr. Witcher! Hear me out." You plead to him, Geralt rolls his eyes and continues following the road.
"Listen! Stop following me! I already told you I'm on my way in the complete opposite direction. Anyway..." He says as he stops his horse and looks back at you.
"I doubt you have any money to pay me." He looks you up and down, you look a little lumpy through the long journey.
"Please, just hear me out... No animal could be this calculated. Many of our hunters and fighters have gone missing while hunting for it, anything they found died with them! We're running out of resources. The whole village is living in fear, even merchants have vanished heading towards our village. All we know is that it's in the northern part of the forest. The variety of animals that we usually hunt have been found dead and brutally killed and torn to shreds." You say as you pause before continuing my mission to get him to help us.
"I was sent to ask you for help before our village turns into a ghost town and a possible monster den! I know how wraiths come about, do you really want our village to be filled with them and then have to take on a hoard of wraiths just because you're too stubborn for coin!? We collected a heavy sum of coins just to get help, we need merchants... Our healers are running out of supplies due to this, we don't have import due to the merchants not making it into town. I'll supply the housing and food accommodations for free, just please look into it. That's all we ask, the sooner the better... Before all of us perish..." You explain the trouble the creature is causing the village and its natural income with tears filling your eyes.
