JJ grew up an only child, with an abusive father and no mother. You grew up an only child too. What you didn't know was that you were siblings. When you were little, you were separated, and each went your own way.

Yet, in the Outer Banks, you ended up in the same group of friends, the Pogues. JJ noticed that you and him had a certain connection: you both did some things like putting an hand on the heart when anxious or wearing hats backwards, "unconsciously".
