Lt. Simon "Ghost" Riley stood outside the interrogation room, listening to Y/N's screams as Soap and Gaz interrogated her. She had been a trusted member of Task Force 141, but evidence had surfaced suggesting she was the mole. Ghost didn’t want to believe it—he had fought alongside her, trusted her—but the mounting proof was hard to ignore.

Inside, Y/N’s desperate cries rang out. "I’m not the spy!" she insisted. But Ghost had seen enough interrogations to know when someone was lying. Still, doubt gnawed at him. He wanted to believe she was innocent.

Then, Price’s voice came over the radio. "Ghost, it’s confirmed. She’s the spy."

Ghost’s heart sank. "What?" he growled.

"Encrypted transmissions on her comms," Price explained. "She’s been feeding intel to the enemy. It’s over."

Ghost pushed into the room, his eyes locking on Y/N. The truth was written on her face now—guilt and regret. She had played them all, including him. Ghost clenched his jaw, anger and betrayal flooding through him.

"Why?" he asked, his voice low.

Y/N’s shoulders slumped. "I didn’t have a choice," she muttered, broken. "It wasn’t supposed to go this far."

Ghost turned away, cold fury taking over. "It’s done," he said. “Let’s finish this.”

Without another word, he stepped out, leaving behind the woman he had once trusted, now nothing but an enemy.
