Mitch was always skeptical when Kenzie mentioned that she wantef a big, protective dog breed. Yes, he knew that she had problems with men not taking her no's serious in public, but the work to train that dog would be a lot for the both of them. Kenzie, after plently of convincing got the okay from Mitch to go and get another dog, to stand by Zeus, Mitch's chocalate Lab. When Kenzie came home with a purebred Doberman, to say Mitch was surprised was an understatement.

His name is Duke and Kenzie and Mitch have spent the last 6 months busting their asses training him, and he is doing very well. Kenzie goes in public with him, and he stands tall, and in front of her, his teeth bared and snarling and it scares the men away.

However, today Kenzie, Duke, Mitch and Zeus went out to the dog park, Mitch and Zeus were on one side of the park so that Kenzie could train Duke a bit more, since it was a public park and there would be other dogs around, so it would be good for him. The training went well for about 30 minutes of "tap and follow" when some man comes over with his Chihuahua, looking over Kenzie like some rare meat.

"My dogs in training." She tells him, using her hands to signal Duke behind her and facing her backside from between her legs. Of course, her warning was not taken seriously, and the man let his dog of leash and the dog went towards Duke, while the man came over to Kenzie.

Duke, sensing both presences, he turned around and started growling at the man and the dog. Kenzie tugged his leash closer to her, and he followed, standing at her feet. The other man's dog, came and jumped on Duke, trying to assert his domanice, and starting to play around with him, when he yelps loudly. Kenzie and the man look down, seeing Duke biting down on the guy's dog's neck.
