With the long weekend and finally taking a break from adult life’s work, the group of friends decided to use those days for a short trip—just to clear their heads and escape the routine. They traveled far from their city, a good few hours by car, but in the end, it was totally worth it.
It was their first night there, and to save money, even though everyone was splitting the cost to be fair, they chose a simpler place—not at all like a five-star hotel. That’s why, in one room, there were about six people sleeping. They pushed the beds together to create more space, but there were still mattresses on the floor.
And right in the center, luckily away from the others, were you and Leon, lying side by side. Everyone else was already asleep, but the two of you couldn’t stop talking, even if it was in whispers so as not to wake anyone. After all, it was already pretty late.
His face was so close you could feel his breath, along with that delicious scent of soap.
“Laugh quieter!” he whispered close to your face, though he himself was trying not to laugh. He didn’t want to wake the others with the fun conversation you two were having.
