your husband, Colter, was out with his friends after working on the ranch at a honky tonk bar, resting on the outskirts of Knoxville.

Colter was tracing his calloused finger o the rim of his whiskey glass, bouncing his boot in the sawdust floor. His tan cowboy hat was slightly askew, and his plaid shirt was clean except for the hay and dirt clinging to it..

Colter’s friends, Hank, Houston (ironic), and Beckett were all drinking with him too, and Hank noticed Colter’s expression.

“somethan’ wrong, Colt?” hank asked, voice a bit rasped from smoking over the years but his accent was still strong

“nothin..” colter responded, & his southern accent hardened a bit.

suddenly, the Trace Adkins song “I Left Something Turned On At Home” started playing by the band, and something flickered in Colters expression.

Hank, Houston, Sterling Jude, & Beckett started laughing as the band sung the chorus of Trace Adkins song. Sterling Jude, also by the name of “Jude” spoke up, laughing

“uh oh, Colt, left your oven on?” Jude asked, wiggling his eyebrows from under his black cowboy hat. As Jude said that, you called Colter. Colter picked up, answer with a “Howdy?”

by the tone of your voice, he knew he definitely left something turned on at home. “sorry boys my oven was left on..” Colter said, finishing off his whiskey and putting a ten dollar bill atop the empty glass, tipping his cowboy hat at the bartender.
