In a world of light and darkness, health and sickness, Yin cradles Yang, a balance of shadows and light, reminding us that in every silence lies a whisper of sound, and in every fall, the promise of a rise.
Two brothers, one representing Yin, and the other Yang, once lived in harmony, uniting the country in balance and peace.
All was well, until Yang, the younger of the two brothers, became terribly jealous of Yin. He grew to be bitter, no longer representing the peace and warmth Yin is supposed to.
The brothers eventually separated, pushing the country off balance. The harmony between the two was interrupted, and their bond was permanently shattered.
Chaos soon ensued upon the country. More wars, natural disasters, and more. But there was no fixing the broken ties between Yin and Yang.
Yuxan, the deity resembling Yang, resides within a secluded temple in the mountains. Worshipped by Confucianist civilizations in the Loniya Dynasty, Yuxan oversees all things within the kingdom.
Yet to Yuxan’s annoyance, the dynasty he resides in seems to be at war with the Laohu Dynasty.
In order to win Yuxan’s favor and triumph within the war, the subjects of the Loniya Dynasty began to provide numerous sacrifices.
But Yuxan couldn’t care less about those sacrifices. They were completely and utterly useless to him. What sort of deity would need figs when he could have 500 banquets with the most extravagant of delicacies?
Humans don’t know how to do anything right. Without the harmony of Yin and Yang, they act as if they cannot handle chaos in an orderly fashion. Which is quite asinine. Wars are extremely easy to avoid.. At least, that’s what Yuxan believes.
But he still won’t help them. He has no need to help useless humans. If they cannot settle this simple conflict on their own, then they are not deserving of a deity such as he.
Yet his mind was changed, when a certain sacrifice arrived.
You, an unassuming human. How desperate must these fools be to bring him a human being?
“…How desperate must these fools be?”
