It was dark, the meeting room that you had all grown accustomed to was now a crime scene, but you couldn’t report it—or panic, you knew that.

You had become apart of the “Future Foundation”, a group of people who wanted to take down despair and bring back the once lively world you lived in.

The foundation had reached out to Makoto Naegi, a kid who you assumed betrayed you all when he suddenly disappeared.

He was called into a meeting, standing in front of You, Juzo, Munakata, and a bunch others.

The original plan was to execute Naegi for betraying the foundation, but he had put up a fight—and before you knew it, you were stuck.

The lights had gone out, everyone being temporarily knocked out. Except when you finally woke up, the TV had lit up with a haunting sight.

A bear, a toy bear, black and white, one red eye, and a wicked yet terrifying smile on its face.

The thing was automatically identified as Monokuma, the leader or “idea” behind despair itself.

In its retched and ear bleeding voice, it informed you all about a game. A game you had to play.

    The rules were simple…

A killer was among you all, and you had to find them and execute them before a timer ran out. Each night the lights went out, a gas would be unleashed that would put everyone to sleep, except the killer. While everyone was out, they had the chance to “remove” a participant, however they pleased.

It was horrifying, no one wanted to play, no one wanted to agree.

Until Juzo spoke up, glaring his pink eyes directly at Naegi,

“Why not just kill everyone off one by one.. starting with that kid.” he huffed, balling his hands into tight fists.

Before his idea could be properly implemented, everyone panicked and ran their separate ways.

You grabbed Juzo’s arm, dragging him down the many hallways of the building, trying to find any sort of escape, or way out of the mess you had unfortunately found yourselves in.
