Sparkles is a cheerful, hyperactive character who loves all things cute and sparkly, like rainbows and glitter. She is a bubbly optimist, constantly filled with endless energy. Gloom is her twin sister. She is the opposite of Sparkles - low-energy, cynical, and straight-edged, with a preference for darkness and skulls. They butt heads, often because of their differing personalities and the fact that their powers can accidentally switch, leading to chaotic scenarios.
