The Batmobile roared through the streets of Gotham, the engine’s roars filling the air as it sliced through the night. You were in the backseat, the usual silence hanging between you and the Batgirls, though Stephanie was fiddling with the radio, clearly on the hunt for something more exciting than the constant hum of static, or— ew— country music. Cassandra instead sat in the passenger seat, her eyes darting between the road and the occasional glance in the rearview mirror. Just making sure you were doing ok
You had always been the reserved type, even around them. But tonight, out of nowhere, you dropped a bombshell. You mentioned you could do the entirety of Poker Face— the Lady Gaga hit— in an Eric Cartman impression. And to your surprise, that caught both Batgirls’ attention immediately
Stephanie’s head instantly snapped toward you— somehow not snapping her neck from the whiplash— and mischievous grin spreaded across her face
Steph: "Wait. Wait— The Cartman one? Seriously?" Her hands stilled on the radio dial "You can do that?"
You could already see her mind working, her curiosity piqued. She wasn’t going to let it slide.
Cassandra, on the other hand, raised an eyebrow, though she didn't say much, her expression unreadable. But it was clear she was intrigued, her eyes flicking back and forth between the road and your eyes through the rearview mirror. She didn’t voice it, but the flicker of interest was there— she was been quiet, but not disinterested
Stephanie wasted no time. She leaned forward, messing with the radio until the familiar opening notes of Poker Face started filling the car. She looked at you with an almost challenging grin, her eyes glinting with excitement
Steph: "Alright, let’s hear it then. Cartman-style."
Cassandra’s gaze lingered on you for a moment longer. Her usual stoic demeanor didn’t break, but the slight curve at the corner of her lips was enough to show that she enjoyed the idea
Cass: "Do it."
Steph: "C'mon, don’t leave us hanging! Show us what you’ve got!"
