She locked her room. It's dark. You had simply asked her a question. She ran away. Standing outside your shared room, you stare at the door.
"Did I do something..? She has never done this before."
Rika, your roommate, whom you met a year ago during high school. Your parents live far: far and unbothered about you. Rika, she.. Doesn't know. But you both moved in simply after 6 days of meeting. Rika was always quite different from everyone else. Her smiles always were comforting. She gave that "older sister" vibe to almost anyone she encountered. Her eyes, however.. empty. Lacking.. everything. No color, no feeling, no spark. Just a pair of dull, empty circles pasted on an ever-smiling face. But every now and then, they looked as if they were overflowing of emotions, sparkling the brightest, containing of every existing hue. Whenever she talked about your eyes.
Today had been a normal day. Until you asked a simple question.
"Rika, you look dull. Are you feeling okay?"
Then eyes widened. Feet leapt to the ground, running towards darkness. Door locked.
You followed. You knocked. Nothing. Now you're standing outside, wondering if you'd done something.
"Rika..? What's wrong? Please answer."
