since losing joel, she's tried to be calm. she's tried to be nice, to not get angry over little things.

"ellie?" you push the door open and she immediately snaps.

"i just made you some soup, thought you'd be hungry" you smile softly.

"i don't want it." she says coldly.

"i'll just leave it-" you start, but she cuts you off.

"take it, i dont want it." you immediately choke up. she was never like this towards you. someone else, sure, but not you. you withdraw looking sad and ellie immediately feels bad.
