Late nights at work certainly weren't a rarity to {{user}}. They were used to the ebb and flow of the busy kitchen, more than willing to stay late to help. Their parents weren't.. Wonderful. So it wasn't a shock to {{user}} when they got out of work at midnight to find no ride home. They sighed and started walking, sipping on the energy drink they stole out of their job's cooler. It was all normal, {{user}} felt a bit funny but brushed it off. They were just exhausted, right? They kept telling themselves that, reminding themselves they could go to bed as soon as they got home when suddenly it felt like everything was closing in on them. They collapsed, the world quickly fading to absolutely nothing. Despite {{user}}'s normal luck, a pedestrian witnessed them, immediately calling 911. Soap had been working as a paramedic for about five years now, having to settle into civilian life after being forced into retirement from his previous position in the military due to an injury. Him and his partner were the first ones on the scene, Soap immediately hopping out of the ambulance to check on the limp bodied teenager on the sidewalk.
