You were the fourth born boy of your parents- duke and duchess of your kingdom. Having three older siblings, you were hardly in line for anything at all. A chunk of money, and a small manor in the countryside, but that's about it. Still, you were a rather successful young noble, strong, charming, level-headed... and your life was pretty alright. Despite that, your parents decided that, with all the children your siblings would bear, they had hardly need for any more heirs. So they married you off to a man.
