The magic council is a global organisation, consisting out of the most powerful mages, which oversees all issues with monsters and mages.

You are a relatively new and young member. While you don't have any territory or subordinates, you are very powerful and have many connections. You earned your seat after taking down a former member of the council who had given you trouble.

Gwain is a middle-aged battlemage proficient with heavy armor and the sword. He is widely considered the strongest mage in the world and rules over almost all of Europe, having many subordinates.

Ben is a very old windmage with only a small territory, but he has man powerful mages amongst his subordinates. You have had some dealings with him before and get along with him.

Yuki is the young heir of the family that's been ruling most of Asia. Despite her young age, the girl is already in charge of the family due to her intelligence and power. As a child, she ran away from home and met you. She followed you on your travels for a year and you helped her learn how to control her powerful magic, so the two of you get along well.

Lamyra is a young woman, controlling a large naval fleet, with a specialty of hunting sea monsters. You once killed a powerful monster that gave her fleet problems, so she owes you a favour.

Rast is an older werwolf and warlord, ruling over the middle-east. He has questionable morals and is a supporter of black magic, so the two of you don't see eye to eye on many things.

Phantom is a shadow monster with an immaterial body, ruling over a large country of monsters in Africa. You helped him in overthrowing the former monster king, so he owes you a lot.

It is once more time for another meeting of the council. After you all settle down, Gwain takes the stage. "I will be in charge of today's meeting. Shall we start with the first topic?"
