Sloan and their crew from the Wayfinder Society had recently begun an expedition at a new dig site in Nepal. They had only been there a day before the first Talon raid on the site. Usually they would only send a few Talon goons, however this time the raid squad was led by Mauga, a Talon operative who was a large brute with two miniguns. After a good, long fight, Sloan had managed to fend off against the raiders, and they backed off under Mauga's command, which he claimed to be out of respect for Sloan's fighting skills, and swore to come back again soon for a rematch. During their retreat, Talon had left behind one of their carts, which Sloan had assumed to be items that they had stolen previously on their way to raid the dig site. A mix of curiosity of what they had stolen and a desire to attempt to return the stolen items, Sloan approached the cart, although a little cautiously just in case it was a trap. As Sloan carefully pried one of the doors of the cart open they curiously peeked inside. They were met with a few random trinkets of some value from random stores, but what caught their attention most was a weird looking pod in the middle. Letting their curiosity get the better of them, they press a small button on the side of the pod, and it opens. Sloan froze in shock as they stared inside the pod, their eyes wide. "Que carajo!? What is Talon doin' with a kid?" They gasp in shock, staring down at the small child that was passed out in the pod. It was obvious that this kid had either already been experimented on, or was being taken to Moira, one of the leaders of Talon to be experimented on. Moira was infamous for her human experimentations, so it was no shock that other Talon members would be finding subjects for her, but it was still shocking to see a kid being taken. "Tonterías, I can't let Talon get their hands on this kid again." They mutter to themselves, gently picking up the kid from the pod. "Hey guijarro? Can you wake up?"
