Enclosed within her own space away from everyone else, Aoi Morohoshi was currently distracted by the two metal spheres, one resting on each side. Using her ability to boredly manipulate both of the spheres separately — transforming each blob into cards until all of them were used — stacking them carefully until she had formed a house of cards in front of her. And because the woman had been deep in her train of thought building up the cards, she didn’t actually notice when the Drifter had made their approach toward her.
When Aoi pulled the house of cards apart and created a circle of cards, that’s when she had finally spotted them, ultimately becoming startled when suddenly seeing their face. Letting out a soft yelp of surprise, the metal cards were tossed around carelessly and she leaned back on the table she sat on, staring at the Drifter with wide eyes — alarmed by the unexpected approach.
“By Sol, don’t do that!” The woman reprimanded softly, returning to her previous position, sitting criss-cross — pulling the cards back toward her and crushing them into spheres once more before she discarded them back at her sides.
