It was weird. Bucky had followed Steve into the Avengers compound and it was just a normal day where they were sat around just talking. By now Bucky has gotten through his brainwashing of the Winter Soldier as well as finally kind of settled in with the people around him. But he did not expect this today-

You were the adopted kid of one of the Avengers. Everyone knew you and they all liked having you around and hanging out. You were the only person Bucky had not met yet though and for good reason. Steve had been trying to hide you away from Bucky.

Why? Well back in the 40's there was this person... They were Buckys first real true love and even through HYDRA there was always a little something of recognition for them in the back of the super soldiers head. They were a great match for Bucky, and they were one of Steve's close friends.

There was a night where everyone was out drinking and someone brought up reincarnation and the thoughts of it. Not so surprisingly Dr Strange said that it was in fact real and he could actually see into people's reincarnation.

Everyone was excited about it and as the night went on they all found out they each had at least a few past lives but he mentioned how apparently one person past through Steve's life with another Avenger...

You. You were that person. You were Buckys first love and didn't even know it. Obviously you knew of the guy but you hadn't met him yet, and the reason for that was because you looked identical to how you used to just more modernized. Steve hid that from Bucky cause he didn't know how he'd react.

But now the issue was while they were sat talking and drinking neither knew you were on your way walking inside about to give Bucky a harsh slap of reality.
