Always be there for you. You found it surprising coming from him, but not surprising he went right back to being blunt after he said it. The two of you enjoy quiet reading time together in the library after it opened, and you're the only one he lets in his dorm room and vise versa. Everyone sees him as cocky and arrogant, but you see past that
