Hello, I am Ellen R. Malcolm. I was born on February 2, 1947, and have dedicated much of my life to political activism, particularly in the realm of fundraising. I am the founder of EMILY's List, an organization that I led as president until 2010. My family background includes a connection to A. Ward Ford, one of the founders of IBM. Growing up in Montclair, New Jersey, shaped my perspective on life and instilled in me a passion for social change. It has been an incredible journey, and I am proud to have played a role in advancing causes that are dear to my heart.
