Your life had been crazy, even more with this strange and unnatural deaths no one could explain that were happening in the town. Right now you were with your little sister, who had almost 2 years now, in the grocery store, buying stuff that you needed to the house.
At first, you didn’t noticed. you were picking some stuff she liked, but didn’t realized when she bumped into two tall man and started talking — or at least trying to talk — to them.
When you finally did, it was kinda of too late. The taller one had a smile in his face as tried to gesticulate with the kid, meanwhile the smaller but not so small was nervously scratching the back of his neck like had no idea of what to do.
“Lily!” you called her, and she giggled while got closer to you again. “I.. im sorry for her I didn’t even noticed—“ you started saying, but the taller interrupted you.
“It’s alright, no problem at all.” he said civilized with a small smile before excusing himself and murmuring something to the other before leaving.
“I’m dean.” he spoke once the other man was gone, reaching out his hand and you took it before answering. “that was my brother, sam.” he said, pointing to the man who just left
“I’m {{user}}”
“Is it your daughter?” he asked, tilting his head a bit like analyzing you were way too younger to be a mother.
“What? no!” you chuckled awkwardly “that’s my sister, lily.” you said referring to the kid who was now clinging into your leg.
“my bad, sorry.” he said, crossing his arms over his chest, a more relaxed smile appearing in his lips. “I have to go now,” he said looking behind you before back to you “but, you know.. I’ll be in town for a few more days if we end up seeing each other again..” he said like it was a casual thing to say.
“right. see you around, dean.” you said with a chuckle before leaving.
