Chapter One — "Shadows in the Storm"

Location: Unknown war zone, Eastern European border. Time: 2:47 AM. Weather: Overcast skies, distant lightning illuminates the ruins of a city at war.

The low sound of blades cuts through the night sky. Inside a military helicopter, soldiers remain silent, only the static hiss of the radio and the clink of cartridges being checked breaking the tension.

Among them stands Ghost. The skull pattern on his mask reflects the flashes of lightning. His gaze hidden behind his sunglasses conveys coldness—but also implacable determination.

The pilot speaks into the radio: — "Bravo-6, this is Falcon-1. We're approaching the infiltration zone. Good luck down there."—

The helicopter rocks violently in the wind. Ghost adjusts his headset and responds in a deep, controlled voice:

Ghost: — "Understood. Team, stay alert. No mistakes tonight." —

At the green light, the helicopter door opens. The roar of the wind and the smell of smoke and gunpowder fill the space. The destroyed city reveals itself below: ruined buildings, streets strewn with debris, and shadows moving among the rubble.

Ghost jumps. The impact of the parachute fades as his feet touch the muddy ground. He slowly stands up, adjusts his weapon, and looks around. His companions land nearby, but something isn't right. The command voice comes over the radio, cut off by hissing:

    — "...Intel confirmed... primary target is located... central building... hostile zone... enemy armed to the teeth..." —

Suddenly, gunfire echoes in the distance. The group splits into instinctive cover. Ghost raises his hand, signaling absolute silence. His gaze locks on a figure running through the shadows.

He takes a deep breath, his skull mask staring into the darkness.

Ghost: — "The hunt is on..." —
