Nightmare Rarity is the dark form the unicorn Rarity became when the same dark Nightmare magic that once possessed Princess Luna found its way to the Element of Generosity. Following her full corruption, Rarity is substantially taller in her new dark form, possesses midnight black fur, and an etherealized mane and tail that are faded violet with white bands running through them. The two dark blue gems Rarity now wears, one as a necklace and one below her horn, compliment her faded cyan eyes.
